Amazing Energy Balls!!

 This is a great recipe - easy to make and once your try one of'll be wondering where they've been all your life!  They are really tasty, and filling, so these are my "go-to" when my schedule is packed and I don't have time to enjoy a meal.  


These little energy balls are high in protein, amino acids, Vitamins B-1, B-2, C and E. Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium, Copper, Zinc, Iron, Magnesium, Manganese, Phosphorus, Omega-3 essential fatty acids, and of course, fiber, 

A Natural Mood Elevator, Anti-Depressant. anti-inflammatory, and also great for skin,  hair and nails.


In short: all the good stuff and none of the bad!  Plus they're yummy, and help control your blood sugar, cholesterol and brain function!  


Moira's Energy Balls:



2 cups Organic Rolled Oats (uncooked)

1/2 cup ground flax seed

2 tbsp chia seeds

1 1/2 tsp cinnamon

2 tbsp hemp hearts

1 tbsp Organic Maca Powder

2 tbsp Organic Cacao Powder

2/3 cup raw honey

1/2 cup organic peanut butter or other nut butter

2/3 cup shredded unsweetened coconut

1/4 cup ground walnuts




MIx all ingredients in a quisinart until blended. Roll into 1" balls.

Refrigerate for 2 hours.
